It hasn't been a day or two since the last update and what do we have here today : well, it's another release of cyanogen mod rom by squadzone, Cyanogen Mod 7.2.0 RC5.3 --looks like he is working hard on this rom. So, anyway, we got this new update and those who love this custom build by squad, can learn more about it as well as get the opportunity to flash it on their device by reading this article. If you didn't relealize, then let me inform you that the previous version RC5.2 was pure cyanogen mod rom released just after compiling the new sources from Cyanogen Mod sources; however, in this release the developer has added all the extra features that were available in his previous builds in addition with some new ones.

So, are you guyz ready to know more about this rom? Then continue reading. As an overview of what's changed in this new version I have posted the changelog below. You can find more details about this rom in original thread post at xda forums.

So, this was the change log and I hope everything is clear out of it. So, just give it a try and see for yourself how it really is. I will also post some screenshots later on when I get some time. For now you can download the cyanogen mod rc5.3 from roms and utilities page for galaxy mini and flash it with the instructions below.

Note : Those who have Gingerbread OS and any Custom Recovery installed on their device can skip Step 1 and Step 2.
1. Upgrade your firmware to Gingerbread using Odin Multidownloader v4.38.
2. Install any custom recovery available for Samsung Galaxy Mini/Pop. You may either have Clock Work Mod Recovery or RZ Recovery - any is fine.
3. Download update-cm-7.2.0-RC5.3-GalaxyMini-SquadZone-KANG-signed.zip from Roms and Utilities page for galaxy mini.
4. Copy the downloaded file to the (root directory of) your sd-card.
5. Reboot your device to Custom Recovery (Press Home + Power Button).
6. [Optional but, Recommended] Do a Nandroid Backup of your current rom.
7. Choose Install Zip From Sd Card>>Choose Zip From SD Card option and then select the update-cm-7.2.0-RC5.3-GalaxyMini-SquadZone-KANG-signed.zip file you downloaded from above.

Note : If you are using RZ Recovery, choose Install Menu>>Select update-cm-7.2.0-RC5.3-GalaxyMini-SquadZone-KANG-signed.zip file you downloaded>>Select Wipe Data and Wipe Cache>>Choose Install update-cm-7.2.0-RC5.3-GalaxyMini-SquadZone-KANG-signed.zip and wait till the rom is flashed.

8. Once the rom is flashed; Wipe Data and Wipe cache from recovery menu.
9. Reboot your device from your recovery main menu.

Take your time and explorer through it's features once your device boots up. Since, this rom can be overclocked upto 864 MHz (which is more than enough) for our mini from with the CPU Settings in Settings>CyanogenMod Settings>Performance option there is no need to flash any overclocking kernels, nor you need any external app to set the Max. or Min. frequency according to your preferences. Enjoy latest Cyanogen Mod 7 on your galaxy mini/pop gt-s5570 smartphone.
