Many a times we create a backup of our Android device before Rooting or Flashing it or just to save certain important files. After the backup has been created it is usually saved in the IMG and TAR (ext3 and ext4) extensions. These files can later be used to restore your device completely and can b accessed by several Restore options but what if you do not need the entire backup but just need a particular file from the backup ?? Well, in that case you can use the Nandroid Browser to open / copy / share individual files from the backup file.
Nandroid Browser can also be used to access those backup files created by the
- ClockworkMod custom recovery.
- Standrard Nandroid Backup files.
- Backup files saved in IMG and TAR (ext3 and ext4) extensions
Taping a file would than reveal the Context menu with the options like Open, Save and Send it right from within the app’s interface.
The developer claims that the Nandroid Browser also has the feature of support sharing APK files.
Nandroid Browser is available for free from the Android Market which you can download from here.
